August 10-12, 2017


The March Comprehensive Course is now full.

Please note: The people currently on the waiting list for the August 2016 course
have priority registration for 2017 courses until September 5. Therefore, registering
online does not guarantee a spot for the course, but you will be added to the
waiting list. You will not be charged until acceptance is confirmed.

The American Academy of Foot and Ankle Osteosynthesis is a new educational organization for internal fixation. We are please to announce that we have formed an educational relationship with Smith and Nephew that will enable us to pursue our mission of teaching our profession in the field of internal fixation. We will be offering four courses in 2014, both comprehensive and advanced courses running concurrently on two different dates at the state-of-the-art facility of Smith and Nephew:

Residents need to fax us a letter from your residency director stating that you are in good standing, the year of your residency program and that you have permission to attend the course.

Continuing Education Contact Hours
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards, requirements, and guidelines for approval of sponsors of continuing education in podiatric medicine through an affiliation of The Podiatry Institute and the American Academy of Foot and Ankle Osteosynthesis. The Podiatry Institute is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a sponsor of continuing education in podiatric medicine. The Podiatry Institute has approved this activity for a maximum of:

Comprehensive Course: 23 continuing education contact hours

Advanced Course: 20 continuing education contact hours

California: 10 radiology credits
